I grew up in Tulare, California and combined my interest in science and my love for animals towards a degree in small animal veterinary medicine from UC Davis. I started my college education in 1991 at UC Irvine where I met my future wife. I finished my undergraduate degree at Virginia Tech, home of the Hokies. After receiving my D.V.M. from UC Davis I completed an internship at Animal Specialty Group in Glendale, CA. I joined the staff of Old Towne Animal Hospital when my wife and I returned to Sacramento in 2004.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, and biking and spending time with my wife, my three children, and our 4 dogs and three cats.
