Dr. Andrew Whitaker joined Old Towne Animal Hospital full time in 2016; some of you may recognize him here before, as he is no stranger to our practice. He has provided veterinary relief for us during times of needing an extra Doctor over the past few years. Prior to joining our practice he established relationships with Erickson Veterinary Hospital in Chico California and in several other hospitals in and around Southern and Northern California and the Bay Area, providing relief positions for small animal practices. We are fortunate that he has come to join our growing practice.
Dr. Whitaker is from Sacramento California and received his degree in Veterinary Medicine through U.C Davis college of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. He and his wife, Shireen, have 4 dogs and 4 cats. He enjoys reading, writing, spending time outdoors and all kinds of sports, though basketball is his favorite sport activity.
